CLS Care Services Group is committed to providing the best standards of care for older people available anywhere in the UK
The Group was established in 1991 to provide high quality professional care for older people who are no longer able to cope on their own. We retain the desire to provide services that are accessible to as broad a range of customers as possible, and without compromising on quality.
CLS Care Services Group comprises CLS Care Services (Cheshire, Warrington and Halton) and Borough Care Services (Wigan). CLS Care Services is an Industrial and Provident Society (No. IP27346R), a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. Borough Care Services is a registered charity (Charity No. 1007002). We are not part of the private or commercial sector.
CLS Care Services Group is administered by our governing body who bring a wide range of skills and experience from a variety of backgrounds. Our Board members make up a voluntary committee (i.e. they do not receive any pay or fees for the time they give). For more information about our Senior Management Team and Board click here
We have an absolute commitment to providing high quality care. All profits are ploughed back into improving care, not into dividend payments to shareholders.
CLS has 34 purpose-built residences – 19 in Cheshire, 10 in Wigan, four in Warrington and one in Halton. We are pressing ahead with the re-design of our services across the areas in which we operate, providing homes that are flexible enough to meet the changing needs and expectations of older people now and in the future. Work on our first new village complex began in late 2005.
We provide 24-hour care for older people - residential, nursing, dementia and intermediate care. We also provide respite and day care at selected locations.

Our 1,350 staff look after the welfare of approximately 1,300 older people and are the core of our services. CLS Group is an employer that invests in its people for the long term.
